Prof Killed in Ujjain

Today is Teachers Day and one cannot but help remember Prof. Sabharwal and the way he was killed by his own students.

The goons going around as Students Union leaders just to make a political career for themselves (in the party with a difference) have shamed India no end. It was with anger that I saw Tomar speak to his college principal in front of the camera (probably to show off to his political bosses in Delhi). Akela the other guy who misbehaved with the Principal is bald and nearly 40, they should be earning bread and butter for the family, one fails to understand how can they be students.

Recently a prof. slapped a girl in Chandigarh for using a cell phone and the entire college was on the streets and here we have students killing a prof. and the head of BJP's giving a clean chit to the goons (ah! the matter was sub judice).

Touch a student and the entire student community unites but where do the honest teachers go who have no unity, no political clout and defenseless against the mob where the police is a bystander.

In this whole episode the BJP has once again demonstrated that it is a party without any ideology. What do we do if they have leaders who led the mobs to down a defenseless mosque in Ayodhya or kill muslims in Gujarat. Their future leadership is in the hands of the likes of Rahul Mahajan who was enjoying a drug party before the night he was to immerse his fathers ashes. Highty Mighty acting by Jaswant Singh to sell his book by planting a mole in Indian minds indicates their hollowness. Advani's high sounding words and pseudo language are missing to ensure that the Prof murderers are hanged to death. The Chief Minister is busy diverting attention on NSUI but is mum on ABVP.

What nonsense, what shame.
